September Fishing Report
Hey folks the fishing is heating up for the fall in Emerald Isle and Swansboro North Carolina!!
The Redfish bite is constant in the marshes, rivers and creeks. The fish are eating live shrimp under corks and finger mullets on Carolina Rigs. These hungry fish will eat an artificial lure that mimics either of the above. There are also plenty of Redfish in the surf and they will eat just about anything you throw in front of them.
The Trout numbers are increasing and the bite is heating up. You can catch these hungry fish using live shrimp or by throwing jerk shads or shrimp imitations. They can be found in the waters near the inlets and in the creeks of the area.
The Flounder are hungry as well. The flatties have been falling for imitation shrimp and minnows on the flats and creek mouths. Live mullet and shrimp are also an effective way to catch these tasty fish.
